We at Dallas Gay Matchmaking are all about transparency. We want to give you all the information and answers you need in order to make an educated decision about whether we would be a good fit for you! While scheduling a consultation is the best way to get all your questions answered, below are the answers to the most common questions.
Is this real LGBT Matchmaking in Dallas?
Yes, absolutely! We run a very professional yet personal matchmaking service for Dallas LGBT singles, where we get to know each client before searching for matches for them. Our approach is very effective, and we are successful because of the way we care and pay special attention to each and every client.
Are you local?
Yes! We have an amazing team of scouts and recruiters based in Dallas that knows the area and knows where to find the kind of person you’re looking for. Our scouting team is unique and extremely effective. This is one of the many things that set us apart from ALL other companies out there! It allows us access to so many wonderful Dallas LGBT singles that you otherwise would not have access to!
How do I get more information so I can see if this is something I want to do?
All you need to do is request a Consultation by filling out the “Book a Consultation” form. We will contact you to schedule a Consultation for you with one of our phenomenal Matchmaking Consultants. This isn’t a high-pressure sales call – it’s a consultation, designed to tell you about our process, answer your questions, and learn more about you and what you’re looking for.
Do I get to see photos, or are they blind dates?
You get to see photos! We will explain more during your Consultation, but we don’t do blind dates (unless you’d like us to). Other companies do blind dates because they knowingly set you up with incompatible people and they know you’d say “no” if you had the chance – or that your date would say “no”. We’re not here to waste your time!
How do you screen my matches?
Any potential match goes through our vigorous screening process. After we’ve collected a potential match’s photos and information, we screen them by going through their information and comparing it to what you’re looking for. If someone seems to be a good match on paper, we will then contact them to set up an interview. During the interview, we cover the process in detail and answer any questions they may have. We then find out more about them, and finally, we tell them a little about you to make sure they’re a mutual match. If so, you’ll receive a bio on them and have the chance to say “yes” or “no” to meeting them.
What is a “mutual match”?
We work using what we have coined a “mutual match” system. This means that they say “yes” to meeting you, and you say “yes” to meeting them. No more awkward “do they really want to be here?” moments on a first date – you know that they do! Your time is valuable and we strive not to waste it!
How can I know my matches are also serious about finding love and not just dating?
We put potential matches through the ringer!! By the time they’ve gone through all of our submission and interview processes, we know they’re serious! This is also something we screen very carefully for since we only work with LGBT Dallas clients who are interested in a serious, long-term relationship and not just out to go on a bunch of dates. Remember, we are not a dating service.
Does matchmaking result in long-term relationships and marriages?
Of course! The thing about matchmaking is that you SHOULD be introduced only to people who you are compatible with, based on your priorities and preferences, among other things. Not all companies care about the compatibility like we do, but we know it’s OUR job to do all of the background work and set you up with the highest chance of success. The rest – chemistry, attraction, and dating– is up to you!
Is this private, or can people see my photos and info?
It is completely private. Potential matches will only know extremely basic information about you, and only actual matches that you’ll be presented will know your first name and possibly see a photo. Even when you meet, we don’t give out last names or other identifying information, and we only give out contact information with your permission and for date communications purposes.
